Well here comes another winter. As my skin gets dryer by day – the only purpose I want in clothes are… softness and warmth. The struggles of the Canadian weather is real. So here is another sweater season, and Rene´ sure did it first! Love this Lacoste Fashion Show piece, it’s warm and cozy; as if I am wrapped in soft cotton balls. If you want to keep warm this winter, visit Lacoste at the Yorkdale location for more Fashion Show pieces.

While majority of my time is spent indoors with cool air conditioning – I think summer is slowly saying goodbye, but I am totally not ready for it! And nothing says, it is still summer like enjoying the Distillery District of Toronto with the cutest denim overall dress and my one and only Forever 21 strap sandals.

Deep down, I really think I was a mermaid at some point. I love swimming and being close to the water relaxes every bone in my body. With our short summers, nothing is better than hitting the beach to get sun kissed; while wearing short shorts and my favourite Club Monaco knitted sweater.

Three years ago I met Manuela Bartolomeo; in a sewing lab at Ryerson School of Fashion. She designs and hand sews some amazing sporty and minimal pieces. Over the years, I have grown to appreciate timeless minimal designs with details that make a garment unique. I love this two piece outfit by m. designs.

Denim, fringe, suede…this is the 70’s. The come back of the 70’s hit us with full force like we never expected. I am loving it, because we get tons of saturated colours this season. Earthy tones with deep blues and browns. I am talking about spring colours here and yet it seems like transitioning into fall this year won’t be difficult.

Let’s hope freezing February will be all over soon, and we will smell flowers blooming again. I will definitely take my turtleneck obsession into Spring, but this time around it will be lighter colours. And nothing looks better than a turtleneck with a matching pencil skirt. We can partially thank Kim K. for bringing this iconic look back.

My obsession with turtle necks will continue. Luckily, turtle necks are classic piece of clothing, and you should never recycle them - cause they will come back again and again. I am so love with this outfit. I also got to visit the Aga Khan Museum in Toronto, unfortunately I was only there to shoot, my tour was private and short. But as soon as I entered the Museum my heart dropped, and I was amazed with the layout. The architecture of the exterior is amazing I will be going back soon to get full visit of the museum and I cannot wait to share more insight.

So it’s been a whole semester that I had been wearing Lululemon tights and ugly sweaters. I finally got to put this semester behind me and began my chance at shopping. I have no idea what I am inspired by; but I bought was army green tops with matching army green bottoms. I’m aware that I will be marching the streets looking like a solider – maybe it’s my dark hair with the green that appeals to me or maybe I am tired of burgundy this winter. Either way, I am so excited for my colour of the season.

AlexanderWangxH&M was such a great success. Whether you liked the pieces or not, we all just wanted to own a piece designed by Alexander Wang. Why? Well, Wang’s androgynous, black and white style has been engraved in our minds forever. This scuba dress was ultimately my favourite. With my crazy schedule of 5 courses [ All Fashion related. Wink! ]; work, and personal life – it has been tough getting a post out. Here I am with my late Alexander Wang post [that was properly trending about 3 weeks ago]. After my exams,I shall make up for my absence with more winter posts, OX!

The coloured images are to mimic Afghanistan’s traditional jewelry. I have been in love with coined necklaces and central asian jewelry.  B&W images are to give a 1950s feeling; delivering some sassiness .
